WHO WE ARE

Students for Central and Eastern Europe is a student organization at UT Austin founded in the fall of 2020. We are dedicated to spreading awareness about political and social crises occurring within Central and Eastern Europe and supporting grassroot activist groups associated with said issues. We want to use our voices and available resources to empower our fellow global citizens in their fights against racism, homophobia, sexism, political suppression, and other forms of discrimination. We also seek to forge deeper ties between the future leaders of the United States and those from Central and Eastern Europe by increasing intercultural contact and communication.
